Description
The real estate brokerage business has diverse management challenges, from creating a profitable business to protecting the consumer’s best interest. If successful, it can be a very rewarding experience both financially and personally. This program will help a real estate licensee or broker determine whether opening his or her own office is best for him or her. It will also explore how to set up and run a new business.
It is not possible to cover all the information needed to start and operate a business in the time allotted for this program. It is suggested that if a real estate broker is considering starting his or her own firm, he or she should read extensively about the brokerage business and about opening a small business in general. He or she should also take the opportunity to discuss it with other brokers and other small business owners.
The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) offers the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation. For more information about brokerage management education and the CRB designation, go to https://www.rebinstitute.com/.
